That was my original caption on this photo when college was officially in the rear view.
The reality? I WAS JUST GETTING STARTED! Good grief, the things I would say to this woman today.
The stories I could tell her about challenges she was going to face, how she was going to grow, overcome it all, and succeed. She had no clue what the "real world" is like.
I'd probably start with the best is yet to come. I hope that's what future me wants present me to know!
Did she realize the hurdles she'd have to overcome? Nope. And that's probably for the best.
Did she know she was going to make an impact? I'd like to think she did.
Every day feels like a fresh opportunity. It's your responsibility to seize it. You never really know what's ahead. Yesterday is history and tomorrow isn't promised so make the most of today.
